Japanese Tea Bowl Candle

I first spotted James’ work in one of my stockists, Seventh Circle. He takes inspiration from Japanese ceramics so naturally I loved every piece. James’ and I followed each other on Instagram and by this point I had already wanted to work with ceramic candle vessels and a couple of previous collaborations just hadn’t materialised - one day I messaged James to ask how he felt about the prospect of working together, and the rest is history!

Our gorgeous Japanese tea bowls are all hand made in Birmingham by James and hand filled by me with a delicious coffee bean, golden patchouli and vetiver candle.

Once you have used your candle you can keep the tea bowl for your morning matchas (or tea or coffee)

The handmade nature means every bowl is unique in its shape and texture and the glaze gives a different pattern to each bowl but all include a small ensō circle.

It’s a double wick, so you’ll get to enjoy around 60 hours of candle joy.

Natural wax can cause frosting on the surface of the candle. Our items are handmade so there may be some imperfections and colours can slightly vary.
